Cheesemaker Aagje’s desire to share is what inspired her to create the Jovial-Café, conceived as a place for meeting and exchange. A “slow food” enthusiast and a gardener in her spare time, she serves up delicious dishes, concocted from organic farmstead products.
Craving something tasty after exploring the grounds and meeting the goats? Take a moment to rest beneath the pines and enjoy the view over the pond and meadows while savoring the cheesemonger’s platter, a sandwich or even a main-course salad... The farmstead cheeses and local charcuterie, accompanied by crudités, herbs and flowers fresh from the garden, will charm your taste buds. Try our latté: it’s the best goat’s-milk coffee you’ve ever tasted! Meals to go can also be ordered.
The Jovial-Café is open for the summer season, beginning at the end of May. Reservations preferred for groups.
